Thank you for sharing both the good and the not so good twists and turns of the path your life is presenting. I have come to realize that how we choose to experience the ups and downs, places us back in control of our lives and our happiness. Sounds like Ben G, ( the other Ben ) figured that out. and it extended his life. I would expect no less from OUR Ben by using an overcoming frame of mind to put these negative things behind bars in solitary confinement where they belong. You have many AnCan friends to walk this path with you.
Thanks so much for this thoughtful and considerate note, Tony! Just as people need to work out how to find satisfaction in life, they need to find how to achieve it toward the end. Thank you for reminding me that AnCan is a two-way street!
Hi Ben, Somehow I missed your transition to RLT. I am still hoping to arrest progression (my PSA has reached 6+) using MDT. I have a PSMA PET next week, so we'll see what shakes out. I may be following you and Len into RLT too. I hope you are a good responder. I wish you good luck.
The AnCan Family is with you, Ben. If there is any blessing to this illness, it is that we awaken to living, experiencing, and loving life more deeply than ever before. I can see you are on that richly rewarding path. I'm glad that you and Dana have made this bold new choice of therapy. I would have done the same. I'm hoping you will be an exceptional responder, just as you have been an exceptional moderator and member of AnCan.
Mason...yes. We were lucky to have gotten to know him. I appreciate your note! SBRT wasn't an option because there's too much target -- numerous nodules plus an ominous-sounding "ground-glass opacity" that could be metastasis too.

Thanks, Ben. Well said! Life is an interesting ride. Seek out adventure and beauty.

We're buckled in and ready, Steve! Couldn't agree more.

I'm so sorry to hear this news Ben. Any setback to an AnCan member affects us all. We're all still grieving the loss of Mason.
Was SBRT an option instead of moving to Pluvicto now?
