The year in latkes

The conversation might turn to latkes when I see Dr. Rathkopf tomorrow. My blood test last week showed another undetectable PSA, so tomorrow’s follow-up will once again be about anything but cancer, to the relief of us both.

We talked latkes the last time latkes were topical¹, and if latkes are back, it tells me this treatment's been successful for more than a year.

I've never loved a year better.
